Robert Denesiuk and Jasmine Comeau recount devastating injuries and life-altering consequences, while Dr. Peter McCullough testifies about the persistence of spike protein.
Four days of emotional testimony from COVID-19 injection-injured Canadians came to a close on Friday, September 11, as the Allison Inquiry heard from its final witnesses. Among them were Robert Denesiuk and Jasmine Comeau, whose deeply emotional testimonies helped bring the four-day inquiry to an end.
Denesiuk, 56, of Comox, British Columbia, worked as a janitor before receiving his COVID-19 injection. He testified that roughly two weeks after his first Pfizer shot, his legs began giving out beneath him.
His condition deteriorated to the point that he spent approximately six and a half months in hospital, lost around 60 pounds and had to relearn how to stand and walk. But Denesiuk told the inquiry that surrendering was never an option.
“Giving up was not an answer,” he said.
Today, Denesiuk still struggles with everyday tasks and requires assistance with things as simple as putting on his socks.
I spoke with Denesiuk following his testimony about his long road to recovery and why, despite everything he has endured, he refuses to give up.
Immediately following Denesiuk was Jasmine Comeau, the final injured Canadian to testify before the inquiry’s closing remarks.
Comeau was just 16 when she received her second COVID-19 injection. She described feeling pressured to get vaccinated amid restrictions at school, where teachers asked students about their vaccination status and a vaccination clinic was even established in the cafeteria.
Comeau testified that she subsequently suffered debilitating neurological symptoms, including severe tremors and electric-shock-like pain. She had to relearn how to walk and initially failed Grade 12 while struggling to navigate a school environment that was often inaccessible to her.
But the physical toll was only part of what Comeau described. She also spoke about being bullied and ostracized after her injuries, including being laughed at in the hallways and losing many of the friends she had before becoming disabled.
I spoke with Comeau following her testimony about losing some of her formative teenage years to her injuries and why she is now advocating for other young people who say they were injured.
Earlier in the day, American cardiologist Dr. Peter McCullough provided medical testimony focused heavily on the spike protein.
McCullough argued that spike protein produced following COVID-19 vaccination can persist in the body far longer than initially understood, citing research that he said has detected it years later in some cases. He described the protein as difficult for the body to break down and called for greater recognition, research and treatment for those reporting post-vaccination injuries.
After four days and more than 50 witnesses, the inquiry ended with stories like those of Denesiuk and Comeau — Canadians who were injured after taking an injection they were repeatedly told was necessary to protect themselves and others.
